Plumbing

Websites and SEO for plumbing companies.

A burst pipe doesn't wait for a quote. Most plumbing work starts with a search on a phone and a call to whoever looks ready to come out. We build the site that gets that call, and keep improving it from the searches that bring you jobs.

How plumbing work comes in

The busiest search in the trades

"Plumber near me" is searched about 823,000 times a month in the US, more than any other trade search we checked. "Emergency plumber" costs about $76 a click in Google Ads, because the person searching will book whoever answers.

Not everything is an emergency. Water heater replacement, searched about 49,500 times a month, repiping and remodel work are planned, and the homeowner compares two or three plumbers first. Those jobs are won on the site: clear services, real photos and reviews, and a quote form that takes a minute.

What you get

What the site does for you

  • Your number, one tap away

On a phone the number is one tap from anywhere on the page, because a lot of emergency callers never scroll.

  • Every call counted

For a plumber the call is the job, so a tap on your number counts the same as a form, with the search or campaign that sent it.

  • A page for each job

Drain cleaning, water heaters, sewer lines, repiping, leak repair. Each gets its own page, so you're found for the work you want more of.

  • Fast on any phone

Every site ships at 100 on Lighthouse, so it loads quickly for someone with water on the floor.

In detail

What a plumbing site has to get right

Emergency first, on a phone

If you take emergency calls, the top of every page should say so, with the number right there. If you don't, say when you're open, so nobody calls at midnight expecting you.

Planned jobs need more than a phone number

Someone replacing a water heater wants to know which kinds you install, roughly how long it takes and whether you haul the old one away. A page that answers those questions wins the quote.

What plumbing SEO actually involves

Plumbing searches are mostly local and mostly urgent. So the basics carry a lot of weight: a fast site, a page for each service, your towns named plainly, and a Google Business Profile that matches the site. Our SEO agent then looks at which searches bring calls and proposes changes every week for you to approve.

What we found

We looked at 116 plumbing companies in the top Google Maps results across six US cities this October. Most had a website, but 22% had built it themselves on a site builder, and 28% had no analytics.

How it works

Three steps, no jargon.

  1. Tell us what you do

A short call about your business, your customers and what the site needs to do. Bring your photos, your logo and your opinions.

  2. We build it

Your site goes up on a preview address first. Poke at it, tell us what to change, and we connect your domain once you're happy.

  3. We keep it humming

Hosting, security certificates, edits and new pages as you grow. You run the business and we run the website.

FAQ

Questions plumbers ask us

Do you write the service pages?

Yes. Tell us the work you want more of and we write a page for each, in plain words. You can edit any of it yourself afterwards.

Can you show different hours for emergency calls?

Yes. The site says exactly what you offer, whether that's 24-hour call-outs or office hours only, and you can change it in about a minute.

My current site already ranks. Will I lose that?

Not if we move it. Each old address redirects to the new page, so what it ranked for carries over.

Can I see which jobs came from Google?

Every call tap and form shows up with the search or campaign that sent it. Which ones became paid jobs is yours to know, so the count stops at the enquiry.

A website you're proud to send people to.

Tell us about the business and we'll reply within one working day.
